I am Yuksel Kurtbas and this is my -kinda- personal blog.
I have been publishing my information and projects on gnuturk.com since university years but due to language limitation on the website - and I left the poor website alone too long to make it all better now -, I will continue to blog around here.
Well first things first, why elxsy.com and not my name?
I wanted to buy my name as a domain like 10 years ago maybe and believe me my name is very very very uncommon in Turkey. I am unique in the world with my name and surname. There is only one Yuksel Kurtbas in the world and it is me 
cool huh 
Anyhow, some retard bought my name and been keeping a blank page for all those 10 years, finally sold the domain to a construction company this year.
My close friends and international friends always calls me and writes my name as yuxel just because its easier so I said I would go for it.. and yet again some other retard has been keeping that domain with an email for years.
So there we are, both names taken and my surname is a trouble maker in my native language to buy a domain. I had several choices go with something that developmental which would restrict me posting something like "yeah we beat you good last night xxx" or go with another TLDs like .to, .gd, .etc etc but unfortunately there is no .el tld to go with yux.el
Well sick of domain searching, I end up with combining the letters in my name randomly and ended up with elxsy. that is the story folks.
