You upload some files to share with your friends, community whatever it is, post your links to your friends. Everything is fine until your hosting decides to delete them. You do not get any kind of information that your files have been deleted by them... woah thats bunch load of bs. You have to go back to your friends, websites and track down what has been deleted, who could not download what. Plus when something is wrong with your upload again you have to go back and check if everything worked out or to see feedbacks, requests. If you shared your files more than one place (thats what most of the uploaders do) well then good luck hunting down your posts in thousands of forum posts, blogs, comments. If you still have patiance for all and you reuploaded your stuff, then there goes the updating of your links in all places.

So you decided to download some files. You click on post, blog or email to get your friend's link click on the file just to see "haha we deleted the file you wanted. pwned!". More annoyingly, lets say your friend shared a game dvd. That has min of 80 parts in it or so, you download 70+ part just to see that 72nd one was deleted ages ago! Now how the hell you were suppose to know it was gone. So you begged the uploader to upload new one and he did, but you dont know it because you forgot mb you were lost in billions of posts.

So what does chck.us do?

We try to address these problems. Let me create the steps for you.

• You uploaded some files, going to post them. You add them to chck.us as well * Right click on your link list then say add to chck.us also. We will give you an image to show how your files are doing in the wild to put in your post/blog with a link.
• Your visitors will see that your files are alive so they can go on downloading happily yay!
• Your visitors has something to say or watch about your files, they click on the image we gave and come to your linkset page. They comment and say "hey chck.us let me know if something goes wrong with these links and someone replies to my comment". we say aye aye captain.
• Send you a notification and email (if you wanted so) saying you have got a brand new comment!
• Your visitor goes over to your page and sees what you been up to recently with your activities.
• Then the bad thing happens and somehting happens to one of your links in any of your linkset. We immediately warn you and your visitors about which ones has gone down
• We update your little image in all over your forum posts to say that some beloved links of yours are gone down. RIP. So your visitors will beware and wait.
• You come to the rescue, reupload them and give us the new links, again we send the scouts to all your forums/blogs to say everything is OK again!
• Of course we do not forget about your visitors too! We run to them and say come see the new links just arrived grab it while its hot!
• You come home see all your linksets in one page or look around for friends in your dashboard.
