Yahoo is good old yahoo except the constant spam problem
After my emails to the yahoo yahoo sent me a nice reply about the situation and resolved my issue. Although the constant spam remains same like any other mail providers around the world I am happy to see that they did not lose their user end touch to the scene.
if you ask me as a customer for nerly 10 years what is the public relations among big companies. I would answer it is yahoo > microsoft > google. Google is just being a douche in most cases.

is new yahoo mail becoming the new hotmail?
I have been a yahoo user for over 10 years now and always been happy with them until recently. I am receiving the same damn spam message from same damn sender(s) with the same damn subjects over more than a year now. Everyday I woke up open my email to see constant 7 number in my spam box. Seriously what else a user can do other than tagging the freaking thing spam? What else do you need yahoo? I have to go and create a filter for you to just the trash the damn thing?
Here is the other deal and where the title comes from. As some of you may know, in like 4-5 years before webmasters used to ban hotmail accounts because it was so stupid, none of the posted emails made it to people's inbox not even spambox. Well most of the so called webmasters did not know what was going on so they just banned hotmail as a solution.
Now I have a small social network and a forum on this server. People gets notified by email if they choose to. Analyzing my server resources and user complaints I found out that yahoo emails always getting a 2 day defer at least! Now I have to explain tons of users why they can not recover their passwords or did not get notified although they so wanted to be. Here is the log from the mighty yahoo.

Well no user with right mind will click notify me and then say this is spam! I opened the postmaster support page to see the error is not actually that but my server is always sending them stuff so they are suspicious it may be spam or bulk. Suspicious?? wtf ?? check the freaking mail contents at least huh, ever seen a 1 kbyte spam mail??
I fill in the necessary fields with all the explanations they need, send in the support ticket 14 hours later the reply comes FROM A MACHINE. Sending me the same page contents I read before filling in the ticket form, only in text format this time. Seriously yahoo, whats up with you recently? so here is my sad reply against the new winds in yahoo.

As I stated before yes we have huge activity (social network) and users choose to get notified by email.
Yahoo always deferring my emails and making my mail queue amazingly long, wasting my resources.
Poeple can not recover their passwords or registration operations due to defers.
If you are going to judge my server based on its constant activities and not solve the problem then I am afraid I will have to ban yahoo email usage and notifications.

First let me explain to you the problems of uploading and downloading as a user who does both of them alot!.
You upload some files to share with your friends, community whatever it is, post your links to your friends. Everything is fine until your hosting decides to delete them. You do not get any kind of information that your files have been deleted by them... woah thats bunch load of bs. You have to go back to your friends, websites and track down what has been deleted, who could not download what. Plus when something is wrong with your upload again you have to go back and check if everything worked out or to see feedbacks, requests. If you shared your files more than one place (thats what most of the uploaders do) well then good luck hunting down your posts in thousands of forum posts, blogs, comments. If you still have patiance for all and you reuploaded your stuff, then there goes the updating of your links in all places.
So you decided to download some files. You click on post, blog or email to get your friend's link click on the file just to see "haha we deleted the file you wanted. pwned!". More annoyingly, lets say your friend shared a game dvd. That has min of 80 parts in it or so, you download 70+ part just to see that 72nd one was deleted ages ago! Now how the hell you were suppose to know it was gone. So you begged the uploader to upload new one and he did, but you dont know it because you forgot mb you were lost in billions of posts.

Improve your iPhone signal strength with 6 useful tips
I guess every iPhone user came across to this, bad signal strength in some areas. US users are less fortunate because as I know from my friends AT&T coverage really sucks in the US. Plus I don't think iPhone has good quality signal elements like celluar and wifi. My Nokia seems to be doing a far more better job when it comes to getting celluar and wifi signals.
As I was sick of just using the iPod feature on the phone even when I was just entered the tube station(!) and seeing other people not even texting but talking on the phone in the tube! It just makes you want to throw the phone away when you need to finalize a meeting via sms or a call. After a quick googling around I came across to these 5 useful tips,
Bad iPhone Signal Strength? Watch how you’re holding it and 5 more tips. I really did not know they put the antenna at the bottom of the iPhone, where I usually hold it as a palm device.
First tip of holding the device like some kinda dirty underwear - well that pic really made me feel like that - made the trick for me in tube stations. Although still no signal in the tube. Rest was not a problem in UK or in my case at least. Last tip; taking your phone to airplane mode and back really triggers some signal search.

Do not update your iPhone to OS 3.1 via iTunes
As DevTeam expressed, Apple's work on disabling jailbreaking taking effect. With the new (just bs release imo) release you may lose your jailbreaking and sim unlock "privileges" if you update your phone directly via iTunes using official Apple firmware. This rule includes 3G phones, you are advised to use custom firmware's made by pwnage tool. Pwnage tool works on mac as u know, there is no official windows version. They will release when they have time. As with 3GS and other new gen IPOD Touhes, you are advised to be patient and wait if you want to jailbreak your phone in near future or use another sim card. Of course SIM rules does not apply to SIM FREE iphones.

How to solve push problem in hacktivated iphones 3.0
Well many of you may realize that you don't get any push messages in IM or other applications even though you have OS 3.0 and push supported apps running. The problem occurs in hacktivated phones, translation, you bought your phone with contract, depending on one operator's sim card and you activated the phone via jailbreak not from itunes.
Solution is simple, use your legit sim card (at&t, 02, vodafone etc) to activate your phone and then ultrasn0w it and use your other sim card. You can use any of your friends legit sim card as well. Just activate the phone with a legit sim card then do your stuff. Works like a charm

LG 42LH4000 Review for XBOX 360 HD Gaming
I am back to my family house for a limited time and my old TV set got busted Well I don't watch TV but hey whats gonna happen to my xbox? It was CRT but colors and screen size was perfect for SD gaming and movies. Well when I was down, thanks to my friend he offered to me his new LG LCD HD TV set for my personal pleasure.
TV looks really nice. Shiny - glossy black, slim, with background color, table deck and nearly invisible speakers. Well first things firts, hooking up xbox HD is pretty easy and you have multiple of everything nearly. TV works amazing with 1080p settings with the fastest and really good looking games. I had made my visual tests on my favorite + best looking driving games. Colin McRae Dirt and Grid, both from codemasters Well after busted TV view, HD 1080p Dirt was amazing in 42 inch! Then PES 2009, Fear 2, Resident Evil and so on with perfect viewing and nice surround sound. Integrated sound system really makes this TV for HD gaming, you don't look around to hook up your 5.1's to the console. Remote was faily big for a TV but I got big hands so bigger is merrier for me . Settings and input selection was like a walk in the park.
I did not experience any of the TV flaws described in this expert review. But to be fair I never used the TV for watching TV and can not say anything - btw I have a SD satellite subscription, no sense reviewing a HD TV in a SD test. But plays most of the HD Vidoes on my hard drive perfectly. Anyways most of the expert reviews are always too technical and cruel to the product. In this case TestFreaks website and user reviews are more helpful because you got to hear the real home users opinions about the TV. I agree with the 9.0 rating. I don't have an eagle eye but I know what quality viewing is. If a product satisfies your needs more than expected, technical details are just gibberish numbers. Enjoy your TV if you buy one.

Who is going to send me 500 SMS to crash me down?
I know this will sound funny after I have complained Appletards not fixing the sms exploit BUT Downloading whole 3.0.1, restoring then Jailbreaking with 3.0 and performing cydia upgrades, then personalizing the phone, adding applications all over, customizing ringtones and music is too much hassle for me to do for two phones now. I mean who is going to send 500 text messages to me to crash my stupid phones, I barely use them and only my close friends have my new numbers plus I don't have that much of a jerk friends or enemies. So until a worth for it update, it is a pass from lazy me.

How to Jailbreak and Unlock Iphone OS 3.0.1 – SMS Virus Patch
You know the previous post, by the way they been warned a month ago not 6 days. Google (Android) and Microsoft (Windows Mobile) phones were affected as well but they patched this very quickly after the exploit warning. Well finally Appletards released the 3.0.1 patch early after their phone hijacked and crashed like live on tv news
What you need to do for Jailbreaking Iphone OS 3.0.1 is:
- Have a copy of 3.0 firmware downloaded on your pc for your device (I bet you do already because of 3.0 jailbreak)
- Connect your jailbroken device iTunes and update to 3.0.1
- Launch Redsn0w and choose the 3.0 firmware for jailbreak instead of 3.0.1
- Follow the Redsn0w steps normally.
Well it works because nothing changed from OS 3.0 except the SMS patch, but can cause trouble in the future so I suggest you guys should (and that is what I am going to do) wait for an official Redsn0w release for 3.0.1 from dev team or an announcement at least to go on. Although they say no difference in the OS (Yeah we need to download whole OS just to fix something, how lame is that!) I don't trust them because Appletards wants to make jailbreaking illegal and impossible with 3.x firmware releases. and Dev Team announced the same thing adding that you can Jailbreak with this method safely.
Unlocking Iphone is still same steps I described and via ultrasn0w. Works with 3GS also.

Iphone SMS Virus
And finally it happened, Charlie Miller will release an exploit today about how to hack an iphone with simply sending SMS to the victim and resulting in full control of the victim's phone. Coolest part is that he warned the Apple about this security exploit like 6 weeks ago and of course Apple did nothing Left millions of people in vulnerability while kept on selling how to divide 50 dollar bill into 5 applications.
Protection ( haha funny!)
- Remove the permissions of SMS application via SSH so you can't send/receive SMS
- Take your phone into Airplane mode
- Shutdown your phone
Details are listed here. Of course I believe Iphone Dev Team will be faster than appletards and release a patch soon. I wonder what appletards gonna whine about when Jailbreaking saves their useless asses.

Free SIP-VoIP on iPhone 3G networks with patched Fring
Since I have been using my SIP and VoIP integrated Nokia my sister got jealous and wanted to use (my old) her new iphone as an internet phone as well. I have installed Fringe for SIP and Skype just to face that you can only use them if you are connected to WiFi.. well that sucks!
As you all know by now, Fring has made it’s way onto the AppStore two days ago. The big limitation that most of us found out is that it’s main functions of interest that made it stand out of the crowd, it’s VOIP capabilities, could only be accessed using Wifi. Most operators would very much prefer not giving the opportunity to its users to get a hand on VOIP Apps over their network. Why? They might lose money.
Well sorry for them since there’s now a way to Patch Fring so it can be used over the 3G or EDGE networks that’s been explained in detail on Fring’s message board.
His way will not work and SSH way is tooo long.
So here is my way.
- Download the patched Fring from http://www.iphonetechzone.com/2008/10/a-patch-released-to-use-fring-over-3g-networks/
- Have or Install AppSync 3.0 for iphone OS 3.0
- Sync with iTunes
you are set to go Well of course quality and delay depends on your network speed. In my test over vodafone 3G UK network with Iphone 3G, I had received good results with skype.. Not much delay or noise at all, and btw I live in a crappy reception zone.

Installing ImageMagick on Windows and Using with PHP – Imagick
As most of your know ImageMagick is like the photoshop on your console demand. Best with their explanation.
ImageMagick® is a software suite to create, edit, and compose bitmap images. It can read, convert and write images in a variety of formats (over 100) including DPX, EXR, GIF, JPEG, JPEG-2000, PDF, PhotoCD, PNG, Postscript, SVG, and TIFF. Use ImageMagick to translate, flip, mirror, rotate, scale, shear and transform images, adjust image colors, apply various special effects, or draw text, lines, polygons, ellipses and Bézier curves.
It is very powerful and supports all platforms with tons of different languages and implementations. Because my hosting solutions did not suppot it (many of them dont do as well) I always used awesome GD library to process images on my projects. Well now my hosting does support and I am going to use it so I needed to install it to my development environment which is windows. I am going to install and use Imagick also because using IM from native PHP is much more faster than using it from console via exec.
Well first of all ImageMagick on windows with PHP is a really pain in the ass, if you have the commitment and time go for it otherwise use it from console. Here are the steps and todo's to install for PHP 5.2.x, ( I dont know if it works with PHP 5.3.x or below, you will need to test for yourself. I am a happy camper for now ).

Nokia Ovi Store Problem Solution and Nokia Messaging
Ovi store worked for me only once, after then it is always download failed. It is annoying that everything works fine, you already have content for the phone but you can not get it because of the store error. Fortunately problem only occurs in the Phone Ovi Store. Here is the the solution.
- Go to Menu then Settings
- Select Application Manager
- Select Installed Apps.
- Scroll down to Ovi Store and Select it
- Tap on Options then Uninstall
- Tap on Internet then enter www.ovi.com
- Select the Store menu
- Enter your details, and download the applications from there via browser.
In my review I said email client is integrated with messaging centre as usual, It works integrated with phone but lacks of Iphone kinda features. Well Nokia has Nokia Messaging application again free which covers all the missing stuff. Supports push on all emails Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Your personal emails etc. It only lacks the Email icon on the top like the other Email application. I believe they will put that in following days with home widget support also.

Nokia already is experimenting with the new touch screen options. Beta labs produced a nice application called handwriting calculator, it is basically what we all dreamed about. You write the equations on the paper/screen and put an equal at the end and viola application does the operations and gives you the result Even for the complicated recognitions. Nokia N97 Versus Iphone 3G Review and Comparison
This is actually my response to a yahoo answers question.
I just got my Nokia n97 and as an Iphone 2G and 3G user. I wanna go over some aspects.
N97 is new and not many applications and games developed for it yet but it already has large list of existing symbian applications. It has free download application already and Ovi store. Filled with some nice apps already in 1 week time. Compared to the appstore which happened 1 year later (copy catting the installer - jailbreak / hack - idea ) and 1 year old. Do not expect dumb applications such as bill divider or metro maps, Nokia will say you have a mind and calculator. Iphone users are mainly dumb - me too - it spend 1 years before you can even use a IM application on it. Iphone came to this point in 2.4 years while Nokia - Symbian phones did everything for years.
As a user development part should interest you also, why? Because apple sells the Iphone SDK and training, meaning you need to pay apple in order to develop some application or game for it! While symbian is open and used for years. Anybody can do anything with it, if they set their mind to it. If you really want touch and view experience I suggest you to wait 2 more weeks and get the HTC Hero Phone. It is bringing the Android OS - developed by Google for Mobile Devices - which beats the crap out of Iphone experience. In couple years Android and Andro Phones will grow much more than Iphone closed SDK.
Touch screen is pretty accurate. You can touch with anything unlike iphone you are suppose to touch with your bare skin. Comes with its special pen, which is pretty good in handwriting. Makes writing a lot faster. Supports double clicking. Sliding, scrolling is not as fancy and smooth as Iphone. You are suppose to point click and scroll like in PC environment, not with the whole screen. N97 keyboard is nice and enough spaced to let you write fastly. Symbols and numbering options are not user friendly as IPhone's though.

Finally BeejiveIM 3.0 with Push for iPhone OS 3.0
You could only use one application at a time in iPhone just because apple wanted to save its crappy battery life. After 2 years now they put push support in the OS and now today Beejive comes with Push. What push means? It means you will receive messages or stay online even though you press the home button and doing something else.

How to Unlock Iphone 3G with ultrasn0w
Dev Team did it again and released the ultrasn0w today finally. Here is simple steps to unlock your iphone and use with any sim card freely.
- Ensure you have upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0
- Jailbreak your iPhone 3G using redsn0w or PwnageTool (this will also install Cydia/Icy)
- Run Cydia or Icy
- Please add the repo repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia or Icy. That last “o” is actually the number zero “0”! If you use the letter “o” you’ll get an error.
- Search for ‘ultrasn0w’ in cydia or icy and install ultrasn0w
- Reboot your iPhone 3G
- T-Mobile USA users should disable 3G before using ultrasn0w

Installous on Iphone OS 3.0 with Icy
Many of you guys are having problems during installation of installous. Although hackulo.us Repository is overloaded and causing errors, cydia is having problems also in iPhone OS 3.0. If you are receiving errors like below

Javascript were generally used amateourly to provide animation effects before web 2.0 attack and xmlhttprequest api. Nowadays many open source libraries are published in order to write less and do much much more. Jquery, Prototype, Mootols, Dojo, Ext are some of the popular ones. So why we love them, just to write less? Noo, mostly they have powerful selectors. As usual first internet explorer then Safari do not obey the language rules and change them in their personal favor. These libraries mostly eliminate the cross platform issues also. Finally, they all wait for the document to be ready in order to be fire an event. Thus eliminates all weird AJAX and DOM actions that is dependent on DOM content. They added fancy effects to old boring text content! That is why we love and can not do without them now.
But they have created another problem. Lets say you are publishing some class, web software, plugin for some CMS. You may use one of these libraries but the target client may use another one or not use at all. Furthermore this libraries are version dependant. Updates in the library may require you to update your software also. Making your software dependent on one of them decreases the product compatibility. They all have different APIs and structures no way to globalize them under a roof. So what should you do? Make your software compatible with all of them.

Lots of you already know about xGPS but this post is for newbies. xGPS is the "currently" only "not apple supported" navigation solution for Iphone. As usual of crappy apple, device has GPS and google maps but no navigation!! And does not work without internet connection! What is the point of having a GPS in the device some really wonders.
Anyhow Tomtom is making a satnav application for Iphone but of course like Adobe making flash player, it is still making... and still will be making I guess. Plus you will need to buy Tomtom deck and software inorder to use it.
Fortunately we have xGPS. Lets go with the xGPS in short bullet features.

How to install Installous cracked apps on Iphone 3.0 OS
There are minor changes to installous on iphone 3.0. Follow the steps below as usual to get the installous up and running from cydia. You need a jailbreaked iphone and cydia of course. If you do not know what are they well google is your friend.
- Open Cydia, tap on "Manage" at the bottom
- Tap on "Sources"
- Tap on "Edit" on top right then tap on "Add" on top left
- Type in http://cydia.hackulo.us Cydia will warn you about copyright information just tap ok

If you experience any problems during the installation or application installation steps, you may try this checklist.
- Perform update on all cydia related packages. It will ask you to update first, do not skip it and update.
- Do not forget to restart your phone
- Install a free application from app store like "facebook" before installing applications from installous
- First select download, wait for it to finish (100% complete) then tap "Downloads" section and install. If you do not see your app in that directory, then it is not complete yet. Double tapping on download may corrupt your downloaded file.
- Make sure the file you are downloading works fine. Sometimes cracked apps may fail, so try another application or package to make sure everything works fine before searching for help.
- If you encounter problems during application installation like package or executable not found etc make sure the following packages exists in your cydia, if not install them or re-install them to make sure everything is solid and packages are not corrupt. Installouse is dependent on these sub package libraries.

Well like after two years crappy apple finally made copy/paste into this crappy rip off device just because nokia is about to hit its answer N97 to smart phones. US does not know how to produce mobile phones anyways, if apple was in another country it would starve to death ages ago. I used to hate Microsoft but they done and are doing so much for IT world than this posers. What kind of an company only advertises by throwing mud on competitor companies and products?
